Registration
Registration is open now for the 2010-2011 Awana season. You can register online or at Church on Sundays.
Clubs
Awana clubs are divided as follows:
- Cubbies (Pre-K)
- Sparks (K-2nd Grade)
- Truth & Training (3rd-6th)
While each club is different and designed specifically for the age group, the message and values are the same. We teach who Jesus is (God’s Son), what he has done for us (died on the cross), how we can have eternal life (faith in Jesus Christ), and what we must do (submit and serve Him). Awana’s primary focus is to teach kids to hide God’s Word in their hearts, and to use God's Word to share the Gospel.
Beliefs
What we believe:
What About The Bible?
The Bible (Old and New Testaments) was divinely inspired and is the authorative word of God.
(II Samuel 23:2; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21)
What About God?
God is the creator and sustainer of all life in the universe. God exists now, has always existed,
and will always exist.
(John 1:1-5; Acts 17:24-25, Genesis 1:1)
Who Is Jesus?
Jesus Christ was and is the living Son of God. He came to earth fully man and fully God. Christ
shed his own blood on the cross of Calvary to pay the penalty for the sins of the world.
(I Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 1:1-4)
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
"Beleive on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved..." (Acts 16:31)
Salvation is a free gift given by God and provided through the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus Christ, God's son.
We need only once accept the gift of salvation by placing our trust and faith in Jesus Christ and his death on the cross.
We are all sinnners and cannot be saved by our own good works, nor by any other means. If we accept this free gift,
we will live forever in Heaven with God. If we do not accept the salvation of Jesus Christ, we will be eternally
seperated from God in Hell, a real place of eternal torment.
(Romans 3:10, 3:23, 6:23; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9)
